Happy Thanksgiving!
Tonight is the annual tree lighting celebration at Shamrock Jacks from 5-7. i always appreciate the Petzing family for including me!
Wednesday, I'm at 20 Deep in Mendon from 6-8:30. It's a great venue and will be a nice way to ease into the holiday.
Friday after Thanksgiving my band (same players as the Regular Crowd) will be joining me at Lovin' Cup in Henrietta to play my original material from both Hard Rain and my solo albums (all posted here to stream or download). along with the rush project, this is my favorite musical thing to do – to play two and half hours of your own songs with great players to an audience of any size is a musician's dream. Just like when I was ten. Please join us!

Tonight, I'll be at Abilene playing all original material from Hard Rain and my three solo albums along with my brother Paul, Mark Balestra and Chad Weisensel. Please join us for songs that I'm proud of and a few stories behind them. We will be playing mainly the same set but adding Erik on drums and a few heavier tunes at Lovin' Cup on 11/28 (Black Friday). We're really looking forward to both shows.
The taint is at Whiskey River Upper Deck on 11/15. The Regular Crowd will be performing at Rootstock Cidery on 12/20. Rush is scheduled at Whiskey Upper Deck on 2/27 – really looking forward to getting back to that!

If you haven't heard or notice, there is now a Video tab on my homepage. This weekend, I am starting to load footage of the Peace Circus – Hard Rain's first record release event – from 1992 at 3D's in Rochester (now Pineapple Jack's). The videography and quality aren't great, but I think the performances stand up. It was a really good band.

Hey everyone!!!!
I will be adding some actual “musings” content (thoughts on music and maybe some history and books) soon, but I wanted to first alert you to upcoming band shows this year, since some of you have asked.
There are no Rush shows on the horizon, as we are in the market for a new guitar player. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I really miss it and would love to get rolling again for next year!
The taint gigs for the remainder of 2025 are as follows: 8/16 at Buntsy's 9pm, 8/22 at Whiskey River 7pm(outside), Friday 9/5 at Captain Jack's in Sodus 8pm.
The Regular Crowd (mainly Billy Joel) has a gig at Rootstock Cidery Rootstock Cider & Spirits on December 20th. We plan to add some Springsteen and a few rock holiday songs for that event.
My original project (same players as the Regular Crowd) has TWO shows coming up: We just booked Thursday 11/6 at Abilene and are playing at Lovin' Cup on Friday 11/28. Please tell everyone you know and join us for this. When we did the record release last December, it was wonderful!
